Give it bright, indirect light to support its white variegation. Gentle morning sun is usually fine, but strong direct sun can scorch the pale sections. Low light may produce weaker growth with less white.

Water when the top inch of mix feels dry. Soak the mix, then let the excess drain. Water less often in winter and never leave the pot standing in water.

Use a loose, well-drained houseplant mix. Add perlite and fine orchid bark for airflow around the roots. Choose a pot with a drainage hole.

Keep it warm and away from cold drafts. Normal indoor temperatures are comfortable, and temperatures above 60°F are best for steady growth.

Moderate to high humidity helps new leaves open cleanly and keeps white edges from drying too quickly. A humidifier is useful in dry rooms, but the plant still needs gentle airflow.

Brown white sections can come from harsh sun, dry air, or uneven watering. Yellow leaves and soft stems usually point to excess moisture. If new leaves turn fully green, move the plant into brighter indirect light and trim the vine back to a well-variegated node. Watch for mealybugs, aphids, scale, spider mites, bacterial leaf spot, and soft rot.
