Neon Pothos has solid chartreuse, heart-shaped leaves on trailing vines. Bright, indirect light keeps the color vivid, while good drainage and a little drying time between waterings protect the roots.
- Light
Give it bright, indirect light to keep the leaves vivid. Lower light can darken the chartreuse color and slow growth. Protect it from strong direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water
Let the top inch of potting mix dry before watering. Water thoroughly, then let the pot drain completely. Yellow leaves, soft stems, or blackened edges can mean the roots are staying wet.
- Soil
Use a loose, well-draining indoor potting mix. Add perlite or fine orchid bark if the mix holds water for too long, and use a pot with a drainage hole.
