Thai Constellation Monstera Care
Beautiful Monstera with variegation!
- Light
My Thai Constellations thrive in bright indirect light. If your plant gets insufficient light the varigation will dull, but too much sun can burn the lighter colored parts of the leaf.
- Water
Allow the plant to almost completely dry out prior to watering.
- Soil
Use well-draining soil for this plant.
- Temperature
These plants love warm temperatures, but do well in indoor climates.
- Humidity
My monsteras do much better with extra humidity.
- Common issues
Leaves can brown where the leaves are not pigmented- ok to trim these off for looks, it will not hurt the plant.
Root Rot is the most common, be careful with dense moisture retaining soil.
Care steps
- Set it in bright, indirect light.
- Let the mix dry about 75% before watering.
- Use loose, fast-draining soil.
- Let the pot drain completely after watering.
- Keep it warm with extra humidity.
- Wait for steady growth before cutting a node.
